Besides product price, keep an eye out for hidden fees. Some suppliers reduce the price of their products and then overcharge you for shipping and handling to make up the difference.

 

  • The products are poor quality

 

It’s not impossible to find a vendor that gives you quality products at a reasonable price. If you notice your office supplies are constantly breaking, running out or just not delivering like you need them to, it’s likely because your supplier is giving you cheap products.

A small business needs supplies in order to function properly, and you can’t be waiting around while your products take weeks to ship. Some office supply vendors promise quick shipping, but don’t actually deliver on time.

Make sure your supplier has a guaranteed delivery date. If your items don’t arrive on time, they should give you a full refund.
